Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information CourseAcademia (courseacademia.com) collects when you use our website and online courses, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, and — if you give them — your phone (WhatsApp) number, email address and city.
- Sign in with Google: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and Google account ID with us. We do not get your Google password, contacts, files or any other Google data.
- Payment details you send us: the payment screenshot, transaction ID, sender name and sender account you upload when buying a course. We do not collect card numbers.
- Learning and security data: which lectures you open and complete, sign-in times, IP address and device/browser type.
How we use it
- To create your account, sign you in and give you access to the courses you buy.
- To check and approve your payments.
- To protect our lectures: your name, login ID or phone may be shown as a watermark on lectures you watch, and an account can be limited to one device at a time.
- To answer your questions and contact you about your account or courses.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. It is stored on our web hosting provider’s servers and is only shared if the law requires it.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed for the site to work: one that keeps you signed in, one for short messages after an action, and one that protects “Sign in with Google”.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your information while you have an account. You can update your details on your profile page. To delete your account and its data, contact us through the contact details on our website.
Children
Students under 13 should use the website with a parent or guardian’s permission.
